For nearly 40 years, Detective Eileen Law has given clients Peace of Mind. That’s what she believes God put her on this earth for. She has specialized in finding Kidnapped Children, Missing Persons and Biological Parents and Children with a 98% success rate in over 3,000 cases. While she performs numerous other investigations including Human Trafficking and has solved several cold case murder cases, finding kidnapped children, biological mothers, fathers and children is her passion. On July 18, 2024, an investigation she worked on pro bono for over 13 years freed an innocent man who had been incarcerated for 29 years for a crime he didn’t commit. All charges were dropped. He walked out of prison a free man and is now reunited with his family.
She started her legal career as Paralegal to the District Attorney of Chester County, Pennsylvania. She attended Penn State University, the Philadelphia Police Academy, the Dickinson Law School’s Deputy Sheriff’s Academy and finished first in her class at the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania’s Minor Judiciary College. She was a Lieutenant with the Chester County Sheriff’s Department for years before opening her detective agency, CIA Detective Agency. She is Chairman of the Board of the Pennsylvania Association of Licensed Investigators, where she served as their first female President. She was also chosen as their first ever “Professional Investigator of the Year” Award in 2018.
She is a member of The Vidocq Society, an elite association of world-wide investigators known as “Intellenet,” a charter member of the Chester County Chiefs of Police Association where she serves on the board of directors and is their Chaplain, as well as the Chester County F.O.P. Lodge 11. She continues to attend conferences at least twice a year for updated training. She is author of seven books, “Somewhere Out There,” “From A Different Chair,” “Office Glee,” “Backstory,” “The Girl In The Cellar ~ The Boy In The Box,” “Crushed,” and “UnMasked.” Her books are all non-fiction and involve investigations she has been involved with. She does not sell them on Amazon ~ only directly through her by e-mail to DetLaw@aol.com and sending your name, address, phone number and which book(s) you are interested in. You may also order them via PI Magazine. Eileen has been a speaker/presenter to detective colleagues at seminars all over the world, has been on the Investigation Discovery Channel, formerly radio talk show host of “Ask The Detective,” and been featured in several newspaper and magazine articles and authored articles for the same. She is a Licensed Captain with United States Coast Guard, an avid boater and musician.
She prefers to meet clients in her office, however, as an investigator who helps clients world-wide, that is often impossible. She will fill out an intake sheet, and ask many questions. This takes about 40 minutes. She charges an hourly rate and “if” there is mileage involved, that would be added. She also requires a retainer fee by check or cash only. We don’t accept credit cards. If she finds the information you need before the retainer is used up, you would get the balance of that retainer back immediately. Conversely, she will not go over that amount without your authorization. She has two requirements of you before she takes a case. The first is that except for a spouse, you are to tell no one you’ve hired a detective. She has never been discovered who and what she is while on an investigation unless she wants the subject to know who and what she is. Once the investigation is finished, you may tell whomever you choose. The second requirement is that once you sign on the dotted line authorizing her to begin the investigation, you and everyone else is off the case!
You may call her at (610) 388-1776 or E-mail her at DetLaw@aol.com with any questions. If you care to write, her address is 962 East Baltimore Pike, Suite A, Kennett Square, PA. 19348. And remember, “If we’re not working for you ~ you better hope we’re not working for them!”
